I'm so pissed off right now, my printer decided to start printing this page and than just eat the paper, and now its uberjammed...

GOD DAMNIT I HATE YOU HP! YOUR PRINTERS SUCK!

I hate printers in general. You would think in the year 2004 we would come up with a new better way to print sh!t with lasers and Platypus's n'sh!t.

I don't understand what happened...

I was just printing fine, than the paper went back down, came back up, than something made it go sideways... Now its all sorts of fvcked...

When I press the button to have it just push the paper out, it moves about .5 CM than goes back... I'm so pissed off at this thing...

At least it's not printing porn at random.

I had to print one of my Java programs in class, and the printer was jamed. I fixed it, and it started spitting out hundreds of pictures of japanese porn - followed by my code 35 pages later.................

you realize printers are extremely complex and technology to improve them would make it way more expensive for the consumer. laser printers that do color are still very expensive for good ones.

I have a 9 year old HP...it still works, but it clanks and creaks like an old steam locomotice when I print. :|

I'm so damn mad at this thing now, it seems to not want to push this piece of paper through. I can see in and there's nothing offcentered of folded, it's just being a bitch to me.

this thing might just get office spaced...

Did I salaser printer no I said lasers. As in like beams of light that right on the paper that burns the color in or something. Oh and sorry I guess as a consumer I should accept that all we have now is regular assed printers when all other technology is advancing in a blinding pace

Well anyways, back to the original topic, I pwnt it.

Actually, it gave me a few bloody knuckles but I won the battle...

Lil' bitch.

I'd say printers in general have advanced to a point where not much else can be done to really revolutionize the technology involved. I mean... I'm still using a Canon s630 from 5 years ago, and as far as I can tell, it's dpi at 2440 and separate ink cartridges havn't really been improved upon in subsequent generations by much. Think of it like a CRT monitor.

If there's one thing HP can make, it's printers. I hate their computers, but I'm very happy with my HP printer/scanner/copier.

HP makes very solid printers. My father used to help draft the sheet metal for the chasis on those things. The ink is expensive (do to the replacement of the head) but they print solidly.

Get a lexmark, I have not had a jam in years, really, and I'm a grad student I print a ton. I got a Z65 and it prints FAST with no jams and is a breeze to refill.
