They can only give a fine for an alarm in rare cases, and it depends on the jurisdiction. If the house/car was broken into how will calling the police now have any effect on catching the perp? Homeowner's going to have the best idea and the most clues.

Seen it happen before when a dude had a heart attack at a stop light and passed out dead on his horn. Thank god his foot was on the brake. Thats why the person said it was a emergency is because you didn't know details, and it could be some dead dude on the horn.

If he's dead then how is it an emergency?

I've got no clue why it did that. I did a 15 poster the other night in another thread.

Well, I call the police station usually... in a small municipality like mine. Most calls aren't of emergency importance and I don't clog up 911 priority lines.

More than once I've had dorks park RIGHT IN FRONT of my driveway. What else do you do except call the cops to have them contact the owner or potentially tow it.

Distrubing the peace is a big deal in my suburb. There's a ton of laws protecting "quality of life" and in general the cops get as pissed as you do at the idiots. One of them told me a story about how it happened to him in his neighborhood. When you have it happen to you... you know why they have the laws.

Step 1: Put some clothes on and get a metal baseball bat

Step 2: Knock on your neighbors door (who has their car honking)

Step 3: Ring their door bell 4 times. If they dont come in 5 seconds beat the FVCKING SH!T OUT OF THE DOOR

Step 4: Once you get the door open beat the FLYING FVCKING SH!T OUT OF THE OWNER!!!!
