Dang it. Do you know how hard it is to put smoke in a package as small as a CPU. Then like a fool you go and let it all out.
I guess you think NewEgg will refill it with smoke and make it like new again so you can let the smoke out again. No way!

I bet you're one of those anarchists running around yelling " Free the Smoke"," Free the Smoke"," Free the Smoke".
You probably have a bumper sticker with the motto of " Free the Smoke"," Free the Smoke"," Free the Smoke" on your car.

I like mine better. If you free the smoke you DIE.

That is a really old reference to cooking any electronic item. The tech would look in the TV, and say, " oh, you let the smoke out of that one", pointing to some burnt doodad.

Thanks Jeff7181,

Out of all the replys to this my post, yours was nicest and most understanding.

For everyone that keeps telling me to to go so fast and to take my time..blah blah blah. I was taking my time and in fact I had to readjust the damn shim 3-4 times before even putting the waterblock on cuz everytime I barely touched it, one corner on the shim would pop up and on to the rubber pad. Someone said why not take the pad off? I should have to take a pad off for a shim to fit, it should have just plopped on to the cpu instead of having to force it on while moving pads this way and that way.

Why should they be sued for people's mistakes?

while we're at it why don't we sue every car manufacturer that makes a model without traction control. LOL
