OMFG PETA is GOING TO SUE NASA because it has killed the bird during Discovery launch

I dont know who will win:

Norfolk, VA USA - July 29, 2005 - The recent space shuttle Discovery launch, as witnessed on national television has caused severe bodily harm to a bird, resulting to its death. This shows a blatant disregard towards other living organism?s safety and hence creating this sad tragedy to unfold.

It is PETA?s mission to pursue and prosecute organization and individuals who cause undue to harm to animals. After detailed analysis by trajectory and flight path experts, it has been unduly decided that NASA did not take the necessary precautions to ensure no other animals are present at the launch site, therefore jeopardizing their safety and well-beings.

With this severe disregard and ultimately resulting in the death of the animal involved, it has been decided that PETA will file formal legal action against NASA and will fight hard to ensure tragedy of this magnitude will not occur again.

In other news, man runs over bird gets his day in court for manslaughter, representatives from PETA will pay for court fees.

thats stupid, airplanes, military jets rips them birds to shreds all the time. They are not going to stop a shuttle launch because of some stupid bird.

It would be in NASA's interest to put a few bird horns (like at the airport) on the tower to keep birds away instead of them smashing some more tiles

This just in:

PETA is suing Randy Johnson for his SUPER-AMAZING throw that hit a bird. Purportedly, it has only happened ONCE in the history of man since birds and baseballs rarely mix. The people of America love the ramarkable from Randy Johnson and have only this to say to PETA -- QFT!

😀

Problem is that ultimately the birds get used to those things and they no longer work.

remember the fastball that randy johnson threw and hit a bird? i wonder if they sued for that.

i wonder if they sue predator animals in the wild that prey on other aminals.
