OMFG....Mercury is on CRACK!

I love how everyone complains and makes fun of the Grand Marquis for being such a grandma's car and stuff, but how everyone loved the mid-90's Impala.

Mercury's trying to get some of the full-sized hot rod market - can you blame them?

It's a nice-looking rig!

Some people just don't get it . . . Even as a Nissan owner, I love the idea of this car, and would be happy to drive one. This really is basically a newer version of the undeniably cool '94-96 Impala SS. You can be sure that the many aftermarket superchargers for the Mustang (e.g., Roush) will bolt on as well - for about $35K you could make this thing into a 375 bhp beast.

Yea this car has some great specs, but it is undeniably UGLY! I would seriously rather have a '03 Accord, or a V6 Altima.

I would take that car any day of the week over some weak import

I would have to agree with you. :)

I'm sorry guys but that car is freakin nasty...i would rather drive the lincoln luxury car...i forgot that name of that car dammnit

This car isn?t designed for the ricer segment of society, it?s meant for people who like full-size cars with big motors that you don?t need to put fart pipes on to make sound. I think most Japanese cars are too small so I buy big cars my current car is a Caprice my next will probably be something like this. :D

That car is bad-ass! Still not as good as the old Impala SS, but it is still a nice looking car. Should have impressive perofmrance as well.

I don't like the interior design in these kind of cars simply because of its horizontal lay out. I like a vertical flowing down dash, not the ones horiztonally.

Yup. I've never understood why they didn't put this engine in the police package back in 1996. It's about time, if you ask me.

Are you sure that it is supercharged? I thought it was just a Naturally Aspirated V8. I could be wrong.

You're right Millenium - I woke up too early today so I'm not really thinking clearly

In that case it's better - throw on any of dozens of SC's for the Cobra and you've got yourself a 13 second Vetter killer :D

"...what the heck is this FUGLY thing...."

We're all resigned to the fact that stodgy old Mercury will never have your exquisite style & taste in what is kool!
