OMFG look at ESPN!

He played with a broken ankle?! I could hardly walk on mine the day I broke it and not at all the next day when I went to the hospital. There's no way I'd be out there playing football if I broke my ankle.

since horrific pictures of todays football injuries are being shown, is it at all possible for someone to get ahold of joe theisman and the hit taylor gave him. i kno its in the past, but all i can say is DAMN when i see that incident. in case some of you are unfamiliar with the incident, ill summarize, lawrence taylor hit theisman, part of his leg went one way, the other part another way. ouch and down with astroturf.

Funny how he played such a good game. I remember when Drew Bledsoe broke his finger (index?) and he decided to keep playing throughout the season, he had some unbelievable games with that broken finger... odd

I read in an article about it where Joe said to Lawrence "You broke both my legs." Lawrence Taylor replied "I don't do things halfway." Heh. 😉

There was a kid on my team 2 years ago who played an entire season with a broken ankle. He then played an entire basketball season on it. Then, after the basketball season, he got it x-rayed, and the doctor told him it had been broken the whole time. He must have taken a lot of aspirin that year.

You didnt have a full time medical staff taping your ankle and shooting your foot fulla cortizone....Cortizone is the duct tape that holds all broken humans together (just long enough to finish the game.) But God help you when it wears off!

McNabb was a trooper though.
Best 120 Mill the Eagles ever spent.

I live here in the Philly area. What is irontic is on Thurs. we were just saying that McNabb is running too much and he's not a running back and if he keeps it up he's gonna get hurt. And sure enuff thats exactly what happened. Oh well their season is shot.
