Are you kidding me? That's not gory in the least, I'm thinking you just have a weak stomach.

If I were exposed to it everyday, I wouldn't think it's gory either. But the fact remains most of us don't see this stuff all the time and believe it is gory. They stuck something inside her lip and out the other end and went back and forth like a saw... that isn't fun to watch. I wouldn't puke, but I flinch at seeing that uncensored.

They also fix cleft pallets, craniosynostosis (misshaped head), deformities of the jaw, and microtia (disfigurement or absence of an ear). They also treat burn victims, and those who have lost limbs.

Even if the people come in for one thing, they have a habit of pointing out all the other things that they think are wrong with them. That's what I don't like. They point out the flaws, that the people might not have noticed. I think that's taking advantage of someone's insecurities, and I don't think it's right.

Only some do this though!

Very true! I take back what I said. I only like the ones who take advantage of people in the way I stated in my above post.

I didn't think that post through fully. Not all plastic surgeons are bad. Some are very helpful!

That show is complete crap (But besides Pimp My Ride, all shows on MTV suck)! Plastic surgery (except in cases of deformity, etc.), is also complete crap, IMO.
