Im such a FRIGGEN MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have it written EVERYWHERE (calendar/palm pilot) as being tommorow night (the 13th). So i grab my noteshells with the syllabus up front to start studying tonight and i decide to go look through the beginning to refresh myself with his exam policies. Then my stomach drops. Exam 1 - Feb 12th 2002 - 8:20pm.... Im like NO FRICKEN WAY! So i check the website. Exam 1 - Feb 12th 2002 - 8:20pm.... SWEET JEBUS IM SCREWED! Thankfully, i also read that one exam (out of 4) can be dropped, so i guess i just got mine..

Im starting to realize that taking 17 upper level business credits is taking its toll. Its just too many things for me to organize. Maybe I should also lay off the ATOT for awhile to get my brain screwed on straight. 3 1/2 years of going to college and this is the first exam ive completely missed. IM SUCH A MORON! Anyone else ever do anything as stupid as this??

hey... i know this for a fact. go to any chinese doctor and they'll write u up a doctor's note 😎

<=== missed his biology exam in my first semester in college

I was riding public transportation to class one semester and was late because of them on finals day. I got in somewhere between 3 - 5 minutes late to my Unix class as everyone else had started their exam. The first 20 minutes were open book, and because I was late by 3 - 5 minutes, I wasn't allowed to use my book at all -even though the people around me were. The professor had some serious problems with people. He's one of the teachers that nobody at Portland Community College wishes they get.

But, no, I've never missed a final. 😉 😛

I once walked into a bio class thinking I still had a week to do the paper - wrong! I had a really nice teacher though, so she gave me a day and a half to turn it in with not too much docked off it. We'd had a few classes canceled and a holiday right before so she hadn't reminded us, it wound up being in my favor.

LOL. This reminds me of an experience in Freshman year in college - this story is true, no BS:

One morning I wake up and find out we have a snow day. So I'm enjoying the day off and finally night comes. My bud from CS comes into my room. He says "Hey Kev, remember how we were supposed to have a C++ midterm this week? Well I just found out it was scheduled for this morning." I hadn't gone to that class since the first day since I already knew the C++ and my friend didn't go because he's a degenerate 😉

Somebody was watching over me that day. If it hadn't snowed I would have failed that class (the midterm is a huge chunk of the grade and the prof doesn't let you make anything up).

Also, and F in that class would've destroyed my GPA, thus destroying my scholarship... I got pretty damn lucky.

I fell asleep in a final once, for about 20 minutes, 😱 according to my so-called friend, who didn't try to wake me up. :disgust:

I had a friend who nearly missed our Computer Science final spring semester of last year. I didn't notice he wasn't in the exam until he showed up at 3 PM (it started at 1). Supposedly, he was sitting in his room about 2:55 when one of his other friends came in and asked what he thought of the exam. He was like "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and sprinted all the way across campus to the testing room. Luckily, the teacher was nice and actually gave him the full 3 hours, 1 in the testing room, plus 2 more back at his office while the teacher did other work. Lucky guy.

LOL! Same situation here, except mine was a final. Sophomore year Organic Chemistry... missed it by a day. I totally know the feeling of seeing the correct date and the stages you go through... denial ("oh they syllabus must be wrong!), then a sinking feeling, and then panic "OH SH!T... What the HELL am I going to do?".

Heh, fortunately the prof felt my pain and let me take it the next day... he was really cool about it (some profs I've had would have said "tough sh!t" so I'm glad it wasn't any of those classes.

Yada Yada Yada, I got an A and never missed another final.

I missed the whole first month of my calculus class in the summer years ago (in my first year) 😛 I did not realize it until I looked at the schedule on wall at school that tells you what class room it's in. I went to the first class I could and I fouund out there was a mid-term the next day.......... needless to say I pulled an alnighter and I barely passed 😛

Cheers,

<< How ironic.........you mismanaged your management exam. 😱 >>

lol...I've slept through my alarm and was really late for a test once. My professor loved that.

You have all the markings of an excellent manager, so don't worry about missing an exam. Just think about how many management meetings you will miss later in real life.

UF sucks like that. I had an easy A "Introduction to Recreation" class and the professor changed the dates of the last two exams (the syllabus and website showed the old times) and I hadn't studied for the first and completely missed the final.

I still got a B but thats besides the point....:|

Haha... Damn i shouldnt have made this thread... I come back on and get reminded of my stupidity 🙂

I have napped during about 15 tests in my time, including, PSATs, SATs, APs, finals, midterms and other random tests.

yet somehow I always finish🙂

I was late to my exam last week. I am taking courses at Stanford, and exam was right after work, I got stuck in traffic, and I couldn't find parking, and didn't know where the building was. It sucked. I did below the mean 🙁

when i was a frosh in college i slept through my philosophy final. and the test was at 1pm!!!! i drank a little too much freshman year needless to say. well i didn't do anything about it and i got an incomplete on my report card. i went in after the new quarter started and talked to the prof. he was like, "well you want to take it?" so i took it like a week later and got a B on it. 😀
