Staples is rumored to have a $150 rebate starting this Sunday 10/13.

I just got a Toshiba Satellite 2400 S201. It's a P4 1.6, 256MB, 30GB, 14.1", DVD+CDRW. Although it's no powerhouse, especially due to the S3 graphics, I'm extremelly satisfied with the build quality.
