Hahaha!! Look at the face on THIS cat.
My Sophie!!

🙂 🙂 🙂

haha cute 🙂

Note Sophies's front paw?

I thought it was tucked under. Is it gone? :Q 🙁

Yes, it is gone! We got her like that. She went into the shelter with a sister, who was adopted the very next day. But Sophie... awww... every time someone picked her up, they put her right back in the cage when they saw she was missing her front paw. She was in the Shelter for over 7 months when I got her. It took a few days for her to learn to walk again, being caged for so long... she kept tipping over and landing on her sholder and once scraped her face.

But now she is the busiest, fastest cat we have.. If she doesnt want to be caught, we cannot catch her.
🙂

Awwww! You deserve a million :beer:s for that! 🙂

It was an accident and it was healed by nature, not medical care. He said it must have been really agonizing for her.

But now she is the busiest, fastest cat we have.. If she doesnt want to be caught, we cannot catch her.

Bad pun: You have "The Cat of Amontillado"

😀 ^_^
Curses, beat me to it.

Yeah, cats love to hide in places. I remember our cat Cleo got stuck in my dresser a few years ago. For like 24 hours too! We'd hear these meows and stuff but nobody could find her. Finally my mom had the insight to open up my dresser -- since she liked to sleep in the middle drawer -- and the cat pops out, nuzzles mom and then runs in to use the catsand. She'd held it in the whole time! That's one helluva good cat.

I had a similar thing happen to my cat.
Man we were worried, we had no idea where the hell that thing was.

My sister and brother-in-law got a couple of kittens from the animal shelter when they bought their house in Seattle. It was a fixer-upper, so was constantly in one stage of renovation or another. Well, the heating vent cover was off in the living room one day, and you all know how cats like to lay on vent covers and soak up the heat. Their as yet unnamed kitty decided that if laying on the vent cover was good, down in the hole the heat came from must be even better.

They realized what had happened, but could not get him out. They turned up the heat to try and drive him out but he did not come out, so they turned it back down for fear of roasting him. They called him, rattled his food dish near the opening, and still nothing. Finally my brother-in-law took apart the pipes in the vent system piece by piece. Their kitten was laying down in the last piece right by the furnace, looking at them as though to say, "What took you so long?"

They named that one "Subway." 😛

Glad your cat was OK, Amused. I have heard several stories of such things happening, usually the cats in question were trapped in the walls for weeks, though, thus why the "amazing story of animal survival" made it onto the news.
