Please learn about the internet... fend for yourself first. Just because someone is nice to you doesn't mean they won't rip you off.
 
so i logged into ATOT and so I read this thread about how ebay was **********and so i thought OMGNOWAI!!!! and so i can't wait to read another thread about it b/c they're all so totally rad.
 
my friend bought a CPU from Frys years ago, it was a K6-2, it was bad. He took it back and bought a 2nd it didn't work either. He went back and returned it again. So I'm helping him install the 3rd one and notice a mark on the top that I had made when installing the FIRST ONE! The mark didn't effect the chip outside of appearance. I told him he said "you sure?" I was positive it was the same chip again. So from a huge chain he got fucked 3 times. The first return I went with him and explained to the person at the counter the chip was definitely bad and that I had tried it on 2 mother boards. There was no excuse for them to try to re-sell it. Is my friend stupid for going back to Fry's? maybe, but shit happens. Op probably didn't think anything of it until the 2nd bad one and decided "what the hell" and ordered a 3rd since the seller has good feedback.
