Any of you seen this engine yet? 35 pounds, 160 HP 170 torque, stackable, and a claimed 100k hours between rebuilds. Sounds way to good to be true.
 
looks like nobody has "seen" it. not even any real pictures of one, let alone one running a pump or something.

the problem with something like this is usually the RPM range. very difficult to use something with that huge range unless its some kind of steady state power need, like running a generator. Its why turbine powered things like cars are difficult.

I hadn't thought about the issue with the RPM range.
I'd really like to see a working model of this thing though. The 300psi turbo is off the charts insane. If it works, it would revolutionize the light aircraft market. You could also build a lawn mower that could take down redwood trees.
Revolutionary engines tend to not pan out, but I have hopes for this one.
