OM Canon SD100 + Battery + 128MB SD card = Good Deal?

Office Max has the Canon SD100 3.2Mpix camera with a free battery and 128MB SD card for $299. This seems like a pretty good deal. Anyone have a better deal?

This is only available In Store, or Over the Phone. The only good coupon left is a $30 off $150. I ordered this today, and the battery and SD Card are on back order.

Yeah, I couldn't get this camera online in weeks. I have one held for me in a B&M OfficeMax. Any coupons I can use there?

Thanks!!

This week I bought this camera bundle from OM.com for $250, and I'm very happy. My battery is still on backorder, though.

Overall, if you can get this for anywhere near what I paid, I'd do it. I have not seen this camera, nor any of its close competitors, at this price often. Even without the SD card and the battery. The Dimage XT from Minolta can be found under $250 online, but not with this bundle.

I was looking at spending well over $300 for something similar to this, and jumped on this deal. Do be wary of backorders, though. From what I've read, OM is very bad about simply cancelling them. My entire bundle was listed as 'In Stock' when I ordered, but the battery and camera suddenly showed up as 'Backordered' afterward. I did get the camera quickly though.

Like I said, still waiting for the battery, but this camera is very nice. For this price, I can't see how one could go wrong.

They haven't had it on their online site in a week or more. So it looks like the only place I can get it is the B&M store. Is $300 still a good deal? Any coupons out there I can use for the B&M?

$300 isn't bad, but not a super hot deal. You can get some of the competition for nearly that price, but not quite that price, I don't believe. Still seems good, but, up to you at this point.

the website has been showing that the item is unavailable for the past few days.
Is it available at b&m? and can we applyy coupon? if not, the deal's not really hot, is it?

I am wondering about applying coupons myself, that is why I asked.

It is still a pretty good deal, as the battery goes for about 46 and the 128MB card is about 40, and most online retailers have this camera for $275-300.

With a coupon it would be hotter, anyone have one I can use at a B&M?

So, no coupons for B&M? I have to pick this camera up, or let it go, so I would just like to know.

Thanks!

They pulled it from their site a while ago. But I got one at a B&M. The sale ends today, so grab one if you are interested.

This was in their Black Friday ad, and does end today. If you call OfficeMax.com, you can place the order over the phone and use a $30 off $150 coupon. You can find it at the other deal site, F W

if it matters, the camera is awsome. i have the sd400, and love it. so im sure this one is great, just not as MP or optical zoom maybe.

Goodbye, my loyal A40. You have served me well, but now I have the SD100 which fits in my pocket!

Through today Circuit City has 128MB SD cards for $24 after a $10 MIR. If you got this camera, go grab some more memory for it!

🙂

Just got the new OfficeMax sunday ad, and it shows this as still available same price, same deal. Maybe this time it will show up online too.

Walmart has a rebranded Lexar 128mb SD Card through today for $23 with no rebates. In store only I think.

There is an issue with sd card corruption when used with non-canon memory.

Good luck trying to install it on a win98 machine with via chipset.

There's also a firmware update that takes care of SD card compatibility.
