Using E-PL1 and can't download Raw images to iPhoto9 or Adobe Photoshop elements directly or Bridge. Both say don't recognize file type which is ORF. Any ideas what to do.
Looks like the only thing you can do is wait for an update to your software that supports reading of this new RAW file type. In the meantime you can use Olympus' included software to convert the RAWs to TIF or JPG.

It's original version sure, but manufacturers change their RAW format/specs over time. One version may not be compatible with the next. You could see if the Adobe DNG converter works with this format and use DNG instead.
