For any of you who are in the market for a great deal on a digital camera, check this out. Expiring 2/10 (yes tomorrow) Staples offers a free 16MB SmartMedia card with this camera. In addition to this, Olympus is offering a free USB SmartMedia reader/writer to anyone who purchases the D460 (and some other Olympus digital cams) between 2/1 and 5/31. Staples has the cam at $349.98 with free shipping. I know lots of people will try to work their magic with PM'ing w/ other web sites ($250+ by my finds) but personally I'm gonna buy the cam w/ the $40 off $200 coupon, get shipping for free, then PM later on using the online price protection feature of my CC. That way I don't have to mess w/ Staples trying to screw me over on their "Next day shipping" policy for PM's.

I'd have to say that this is a pretty good deal. The USB reader is worth at least $50 and the 16 meg card is about 30. I have this camera (paid $330 at CC around Christmas), and have been very satisfied with it. Just make sure you invest in some good NIMH's batteries.

Great camera
I picked one up back in December for about $270 when Staples were still taking multiple coupons. Great deal with all these freebies.

I always wonder how that BLUE card price matching works??

Is it before coupon or after coupon price ? Or is the final amount that I CHARGED to the BLUE card?

If it's amount charged, then it will be good to use at rebate items .
E.g. Microwarehouse is having $100 rebate on notebook. Buy a notebook at Microwarehouse using the Blue Card, Get a price protection matching thing going, and on the other hand you also send in your rebate and wait for it to come!! So basically you can get a notebook that is even $100 lower than the BEST price you find!!!!!

The CC I use for online purchases is a ClickCiti Mastercard. I think it's from Citibank and it has price protection for 60 days. It's a great feature for hi-tech toys that are constantly dropping in price. ;)

Well I called Staples online's order number and was told that they were out of the camera and I should check back later. Interestingly enough, when I called the closest B&M they said they had 1 left and would hold it for me so I flew to the store. Ended up not only did I get a free 16MB SmartMedia card but I also got the free scanner mentioned in this weeks ad (and also mentioned in another thread) and still used my $40 off coupon! Tomorrow is the last day!
