I wouldn't call them crooks...sloths maybe, but crooks is quite a slanderous term meant for those who take the time to actually steal your money. But yes, it is bothersome that they don't give you a phone number to call until AFTER you make a purchase, but I e-mailed them for support and they got back in to me in 2 hours (this was on a Sunday). They're no Amazon, but then again Amazon's prices are no match.

In regards to TimeThrash's first message, what do you mean by no NiMH batteries? You could just buy them and use them with the camera, or do you mean they should have come WITH the camera?

Just wanted to get clarification since it is a good price...but what horrible ratings that shop has!

Yeah, I meant they don't come with the NiMH rechargable batteries. If anyone does buy this camera from the apparent merchant of death theweb-shop.com, and you do want to get batteries, Amazon recommends Kodak's Photolife charger and NiMH battery set over Olympus' own. And they sell the Olympus ones! The Olympus NiMHs have gotten horrible user ratings from Amazon, because you have to pull them out of the charger the SECOND they're done or else bad things happen, plus they're regarded as shotty. I think I paid around $35 for the Photolife batteries from Amazon I believe. If my camera ever comes from theweb-shop.com I'll let you know how well they work. =)
