Olympus C765 Firmware Update

Meh. No firmware update is even available.

I can't find the cable for our C765.
Is it possible to update the firmware from the xD card?
IE: burn firmware to card and then run it from the card.

Not sure, but isn't the cable just a standard USB cable? At least it is for my older C-750.

No, it's got a tiny end on one side. I have a cable from anMP3 player that almost works.
