Olympus C750 digital camera $262-$100 rebate at OD

I can't believe this hasn't been posted here yet!!

Office Depot has the Olympus C750 on clearance for $262.02. Today there was $100 in rebates, but according to a FW post, there will be an additional $50 rebate starting tomorrow. Price is currently $262-100 rebate=$162.

I picked up the last one locally (a floor model) for $187-100 rebate=$87 (plus Advantage Rewards) because of some missing pieces. Run, do not walk to your local OD!!

This camera is on sale at BestBuy.com for $522 this week!!

Were the rebates posted at the store??

Found them...thanks...I am heading there tomorrow, going to buy 2 if I can
 
I think this may be YMMV... I just called and they said the only Olympus camera they carry is the 600 something. Never had any 750s. 🙁

EDIT: I even checked the OfficeDepots as far as 50 miles out, still no sign of ever having the 750.
 
I just got back from the Rancho Cordova CA store no luck, the CS rep , said they were all gone. I then drove to the Roseville CA store an hour later just to check...they had 1 whoppie....it was marked down to $261, I talked to the store manager and got it for $199 with the $100 mail in rebate...total cost $99...man I scored big time. Filling the rebate info out right now..

I am going to check out the RENO NV stores for more, going there tomorrow
 
I tried to score another one this morning at the Grand Rapids store, but someone had beat me to it. He called just after they opened and had it held for pickup. I could see the box right behind the cashier.

So near, yet so far.......

I was quite amazed myself that this worked out so well....I am going to check out 4 OD stores tomorrow to see if any are left
 
Just picked one up at a local OD. For some reason THREE rebates of $50 each printed out. $279 - 150 = the best deal I've ever got. Thanks!

It's only two $50 rebates. The third one is for a printer, camera combo. Both must be on the same receipt.

I asked my wife to go and get one yesterday, some dude went into the store and grabbed both remaining and the second one was a display. The manager called another store for the wife and she was on the way to get the display. The same stupid dude eavesdrop and went after that one too but thanks God she got there one minute before he did and snatched it. He wanted to make copy of the UPC for the rebate. Good thing that I told my wife that no one is to touch it after you bought it b/c this dude is trying to get the serial number send in for the rebates which will denied my rebates. What an as$hole. I can't stand people like that. He got two and want to take another. If I was there I would knocked him out. But lucky for the as$hole I was not.
 
there actually is a 3rd rebate (not the printer one). anybody who bought this camera, do you think you could kindly scan the 3rd rebate or tell me the info on it?

Starting this past Sunday, there is a 4th $50 rebate including one that must have an HP photo printer purchased to be eligible. Good luck to all those hunting their local OD store, and I hope none of you were the person who got the Grand Rapids 28th street store before me!!!

checked a couple of stores in west houston - found nothing.

I hate to beg, but if somebody would be willing to sell me one please PM me.

Unbelievable! Why can't some of the lurkers here (or wherever) just let people share in a good deal. I've been waiting for years for a deal on one of these type Olympus digicams -- to use for my personal use, NOT to egay for profit.

I found the last one in the west los angeles area. I called a bunch and went to 3 of them. found an instore display in good shape. The guy knocked 20 bucks off the price, so that wasn't too bad, but I wanted the extended warranty thrown in, but, no dice.
