FYI

For those jumping on this deal, you have to remember that you have to buy the printer at its retail price, cause the Rebate specifically says that you must purchase the printer at $99, if you get it PM they going to send you the rebate for the amount you paid for it...

Wow. I'd pay that for the camera, period. I didn't know you could get 4MP for under $4- or 500! Has anyone here used it?

I don't know anything about color printers. I just have an old LJ4. The printer looks pretty impressive to me. Can I print on photo paper? All I want to be able to do if I trade in my SLR for digital is print some nice shots on 4x6 and 5x7 photo paper for framing, scrapbook, etc.

I heard ppl talking about the ligit of the Epson rebate. How about the reputation the the merchant, the web store looks like it was created effortlessly by 10 year old kid, i doubt that Staples would PM it.

I use this exact same combo, and I don't think ou can beat it for the price. Warning though, make sure you use the printer - the heads will clog FAST!

Bump on that clogging head. gotta use it atleast every other week. Mine clogged after about 1 month withouth using, had to clean it. Otherwise this is a great deal. Got the same combo about a month and half back. Had great fun with the camera (although it is abit large for my taste). Anyways, no more complaints, jump on this deal if you are looking for a digital camera.

Boy, I'm a little curious, too. Before I try to dig into this here at work, does being a Yahoo store provide any measure of security guarantee? He's also got a phone number... I've noticed that his price is lower than the refurb prices elsewhere. Need to check that out!

Also, how is the CC info handled on a Yahoo store? Does Yahoo get it and handle it or the individual store owner? They ask for way too much information as verification on this thing.

And, finally... Is there any reason that the 890 printer (also available on the rebate) should be priced $100 more than the 820? Looks like lower resolution and a lot of the other info is the same. Haven't compared side-by-side, but I don't see the benefit of the $100 more expensive printer!

They have a St. Paul, MN address for their contact info and 213 as the area code for their phone number. But the area code for St. Paul, MN is 651. 213 is for Los Angeles. Sounds fishy.
