i have an Olympus C-765 and i can't find any way to print the day or time on my pictures. does anyone know how to do this?

the only thing i can find concerning date/time is something called PDOF. i'm not sure how that works but i don't think it's a date/time stamp. any insight is appreciated.

I don't think there is an option in the camera. Not many digital cameras have this feature because not many people want orange letters on their photos when they get them developed.

There are a couple of options though:

Get a program that reads the date information from the EXIF data in the JPEG, and then adds this data to the picture.

Some online photo printers have an option to print the date the picture was taken on the back of the printed picture. Their machine reads the date information from the EXIF and prints it on the back of the picture.
