Ollie North calls Gorbachev "a butcher"

Proves himself a loudmouth and a moron. No evidence provided of course.
Oh Hannity and Colmes he said Gorbachev was a butcher before Reagan met him.
Talking about a man who singlehandedly stood up to and took on a political system that killed millions of people who were suspected of opposing it.
I hope he apologizes, but I doubt it.

Yeah, he has a past. Started off as a farm combine operator, made it to the top, and then gave it all up for the good of the country and the world.

Yeah, but his comments make him sound brainwashed. I personally consider Gorbachev one of the most courageous, and least selfish people. He really put his life on the line, he sacrificed his job, and his power, and stood up for what is right. I think that comment was really unfair.

I can?t find any dirt on that guy. The only thing barely questionable was sending some troops into one of the Baltic States when everybody was declaring independence. No real atrocities or significant loss of life though.
