Olivia munn finally has a decent segment on the daily show... tiger moms

That was good. I thought they had gotten rid of her because she wasn't funny.
 
I'll admit, I dont watch The Daily Show on a regular basis, so I don't know how good or bad Munn's other segments were, but this one was pretty good.

I never thought she was funny or unfunny on Daily Show, because I just enjoy her eye candy.

She went on to do that "Perfect Couples" show....which got cancelled?

So now she's back to her back-up gig of the "John Stewart Show" until she can score another show (which is what all actors are angling to do).
 
I said the exact same thing to my gf last night when we were watching it. "Wow, finally something from Olivia Munn that I actually enjoyed .. she's usually pretty meh."

Olivia is a true female version of a douchebag. She's deluded into thinking that she's actually funnier and prettier than she actually is and carries that FU attitude that always shows on camera.

Kevin Perreira basically carried her on the "Attack of the Show" (G4)--the show that put her on the map. If it wasn't for Kevin's masterful ability to make her shine, her "career" would be in the toilet.

In the future, I hope that Kevin gets a Late Night gig, as the dude is seriously comedically talented! :thumbsup:

how does that make sense, she got big on aots because she was game for the frat boy humor and wasn't afraid of looking stupid for a laugh.

but yea that kind of humor doesn't work that well on the daily show most of the time.

Olivia was more natural and relaxed on Attack Of The Show. She was never overly funny or insightful, just very amusing. Though nice to see Stewart's show poking fun at these doctrinaire progressives.

Unfortunately, my first introduction to actually hearing her speak was The Daily Show where she absolutely sucks. My only other real exposure to her was seeing picture of her licking gadgets.
 
First episode of the Daily Show I've watched in a while, and it was great top to bottom. I wonder if that was her real mom though...
 
Olivia Munn was great on Attack of the Show. It's the only think that I've seen her on where she's great, and it was specific to co-hosting with Kevin Pereira. If one of them was missing, the dynamic was just not as good.

I want to like Candace Bailey (her replacement after Munn quit), but it's just not happening. Still watching to see if it gets better.


Marked for later to see if Olivia Munn can get something to work outside of AOTS...
