First of all, I did a search and already found the difference between virgin and extra virgin. Now my next question is, is there much of a difference in taste between brands? Does the taste get much better as price increases?
The local Whole Foods here has a ton of different brands of olive oil. As I don't use the stuff really often, I can't justify the cost of buying a bunch of different brands to compare. Right now I'm using a bottle of extra virgin that I bought there, but it doesn't seem to taste very good to me. I wish I knew what kind they used at restaurants where the oil is used for dipping bread, those types always seemed to be pretty good.
