OLED vs LCD

Hello,

Is the dynamic range of a typical OLED display more than that of an LCD display? i know the response tiems of OLED's are far superior.

OLED screens are just beginning to appear in laptops and they are pretty pricey. They haven't made it to desktop monitors yet (AFAIK). Interesting question though.

The color gamut of OLED displays are higher than typical LCDs.
But some LCDs are getting close. It's within serveral percentage points, so it's likely that normal users won't perceive a difference.
Hopefully the blues will hold up over time.
