There's someone in Chicagoland who's about to turn 107 I just heard....geez if I ever get that old I'll kill myself. 😉

What a stupid statement.

Alright, in that case: "I'd love to be so goddamn old that I can barely function by myself, to have more health problems and medications than you could ever imagine, to be in constant pain from arthritis, to wear diapers all the time because I can't control my own bowels, to have it so whenever I miss a step coming down the stairs or slide a little in the shower I break a hip and have to be in a wheelchair. Sounds fantastic!" That smart enough for you?

I'm not saying all people of this age are incapable of caring for themselves, but frankly, most of them are. I have the utmost respect for them, but I don't envy them.

"The UCLA School of Medicine, a member of the research group which tracks the ultra-old."

Now THAT is one exciting job. Nothing like tracking the "ultra-old" to get your blood a-rushin'.

The nation's oldest person, a 113-year-old woman who witnessed the aftermath of the great San Francisco earthquake, enjoyed junk food and lived alone until she turned 102, has died

And there you have it. This should teach a valuable lesson to everyone- JUNK FOOD KILLS.
