I have a pretty low count too, but I want to be a more active member now. Sadly, now that Im in college, I have even less time and ive fallen behind on which mobo/chipset/cpu is the best. 🙂 Athlon forever!

Ha, Ha, I can clear up this mystery. As many know, but many others seem not to, the Oct.1999 join date for we oldtimers indicates the last time the Anandtech servers bit the big one and died. Everyone had to re-register. In the above instance, some clown grabbed Underclocked's nik, and he, Rich, had to register as <FONT color=navy>The_REAL_Underclocked.

This (nik theft) happened to a few others, but Rich was able to alert the mods and get them to restore his rightful nik to him. Rich (Underclocked) is the man who opened the pearly gates of Value America to us all. He is one hella good man, as well. He was one of the first to formulate and post the Trading Guidance thread in FS/FT, btw. I talked to him just the other day. He misses the feel of the old, tighter community we used to have.

Many, many of us with that Oct. 1999 date were here looooooong before that, and on the great old AGN, trading our tootsies off, even longer before THAT.

I thought about not posting in this thread so that I'd have a better shot when this thread reappears next year... but so far I'm in the top ten (or is it bottom ten?) so I figured what the hell. 🙂
