ibex333, as far as I know Crossfire doesn't even work in Fallout 4.

I will have to do some further testing, but I think you are wrong about that. Read the update below.

The latest drivers were released a few days ago...

Those are beta drivers. I don't mess around with beta drivers.

UPDATE: So I got my 2nd 270x in the mail and fired up the Crossfire. Fallout 4 start utility rescanned hardware and defaulted to "Ultra" setting. Was too lazy to check the exact fps yesterday a night, but everything ran butter smooth and new areas loaded in 30 sec-1min as opposed to a good 5+ min on the 6950's. This is off course all at 1080p.

I checked the 3D Mark Firestrike(the regular, free Firestrike not one of the crazier ones)

With 6950's CF I was getting something like 4212 marks. With the 270X CF I am getting 9100+ which correct me if I am wrong is very close to 290 to 290X performance under 1080p.

Even though I am nowhere near what some other people get with their 270X CF, I am still pretty happy.

Yeah, as long as CF works well in a particular game, 270X CF should be right around 290/290X clock for clock. You'll definitely be happier with running CF in that setup than if you'd gone CF with 6xxx or 5xxx series cards.

Don't confuse one game for all games. 270x crossfire will = 290 in games that work fine with it that don't need more than 2GB RAM, which is a majority of current games at 1080p.

Fallout 4 does not work properly with multi card setups right now on either nVidia or AMD. You can hack it to work but it causes a whole bunch of issues apparently. This is including Catalyst 15.11.1 latest beta drivers, which still dont work with Fallout 4 multicard because the issue is on Bethesda's end
