I have an older TX pro 2 motherboard from one of the first computers i assembled.
Currently it has a AMD 300Mhz processor and works ok.
I also have an AMD 800Mhz processor sitting on the shelf.
The maximum external clock selector is 75Mhz and the Internal is 5.5X.
The obvious question here is will the faster processor work in this board without trashing one or the other? Also 75 x 5.5 = 412.5Mhz; is this the best it would do?
Any words of wisdom?
