Any recommendations? I'm looking to buy one to use as a "netbook" but the screens on netbooks are just too small for my liking. An optical drive is optional, the main requirements are low weight and large screen size. I'll probably be looking to but one off ebay
 
x31/32 Thinkpad. A bit heavier than the x41, but uses a regular 2.5" PATA notebook HDD instead of the slower and harder to find 1.8" drive in the x4x series.
 
4 lbs is a pretty low weight. I still really like my 600m from dell, but it weighs almost 6 lbs. though it is pretty small.
