unreal tournament 2004, and counter-strike 1.6 (mostly deathmatch or gungame, on irc all the pug channels seem to have vanished so no more scrims).
Tried playing Diablo 2 LOD & Starcraft again but got bored pretty fast.

BloodRayne
Elite Force II
Thinking of Diablo (1,not 2)
Freeelancer, if i can get it installed on linux

Heroes of Might & Magic III
Civilization IV
Warcraft III
Super Mario Bros. (the whole series)

Yeah those are some games I constantly find myself playing over and over, I even have Heroes V and New Super Mario Bros. but they just aren't as good as the old games.

I have gone back to System Shock 2 a few times, as have I Deus Ex. Come to think of it, I think I played DE, sold it, got it back - sold the 2nd copy, and kind of have a hankering to play it again. I've also gone back to Max Payne 2 a couple of times. Can't get enough bullet time : )

Whelp I just picked up the Starcraft Battlechest...time to whip out the ol' ass kicking on battle.net =) and also snagged a copy of Seven Kingdoms II

I"m replaying Star Trek: Elite Force II at this time. I pull an old FPS out of the pile once in awhile when I'm bored.

UT2k4. Still try to play at least a few hours every week or two.

It & Painkiller were actually kinda what got me into PC gaming, other than the odd NFS & NHL one before that.

I used to play BG2 and PST every so often before I bought my large LCDs. Now that I have the high res patch working with BG2 though, I may play through it again. Wish I could get it working under Torment though. I haven't played that game through to the end in years.

Civilization IV, although not that old, still gets play frequently, I just started another game as the Russians.

Deus Ex
Age of Empires 2 & 3
Worms World Party (The girlfriend loves this one! 😀)
Worms 4 Mayhem (If only I could make it work under Windows Vista...)

And recently I installed Duke Nukem 3D and Redneck Rampage! Talk about a blast from the past.

What is this Homeworld SDL?

I keep Homeworld: Cataclysm installed. It was always my favorite of the 3 games, though the epic scope of HW1 can't really be beaten.

Freespace 2 and it's expansion.

Half-Life 1. HL2 is enjoyable but just doesn't have the memories for me that HL1 does.

Other than those three, I don't keep any games installed, thought Mass Effect just might become #4, though.

Some older random games in no order......

Maniac Mansion, Day Of The Tentacle, Alien VS. Predator GOLD, Alien VS. Predator 2, Ultimate Doom, Doom 2 and Final Doom with Doomsday engine. Serious Sam First & Second Encounter. Max Payne 1 & 2, Half-life, Opposing Force, Blue Shift and Decay. Tribes (It's free now and still going strong), Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2, Duke Nukem 3D, Phantasmagoria 1 & 2, Unreal and Unreal Tournament............I could go on and on......I need to go through my games to list some more. I enjoy all kinds of games. New or old. A good game is a good game.

Oooo....Crusader: No Remorse and No Regret. 😀

Shadow Warrior...."Who wanta some Wang?" -Lo Wang.

Beavis & Butthead in Virtual Stupidity.

Raptor: Call of the Shadows.

Just started playing Grim Fandango again, play Red Alert from time to time, I love those mammoth tanks still lol, Age of Empires 2
Bought Half Life Source for $10 on steam recently spruces up the old game a bit. Ice Wind Dale, Baulders Gate, Planscape Torment, Full Throttle, Sim City 2k, and a few others are still all installed on my other computer I use for older games.

Lords of the Realm I and II although I like 1 better.
Warcraft II

Anyone want to dialup a game? I better check my baud rate.

XCom: UFO Defense

The version they have up at Underdogs runs very well under Windows XP, and its free!

I tend to go back to a few fps games when i get a faster computer. It's nice to be able to play those games at full settings.

The old ones are the best. Who needs your OpenDirectGL and your fancy mip-mapping and trilinear wotchamacallits.

For example, I just restarted this little known Scott Adams text adventure

You are in THE TEST CHAMBER

You see
Sample, Energy Beam, Ladder

There is a door to the North

>PUSH SAMPLE INTO BEAM

I'm sorry I don't understand

>PUT SAMPLE IN BEAM

I see no beam

>PUT SAMPLE IN ENERGY BEAM

You push the sample into the energy beam

There is a loud explosion

You are in THE TEST CHAMBER

You see
Resonance Cascade, broken ladder

There is an exit to the North

>GO NORTH

...

And who can forget this classic...

You are in ANCIENT EGYPTIAN BURIAL CHAMBER

You see
Cliff Ledge, yawning void, really annoying precision jumping puzzle

>Run to cliff ledge

You run towards the cliff ledge

>Jump

You run closer to the cliff ledge

>Jump you stupid cow, jump!

You run straight off the edge

>What? I said jump, JUMP dammit, why didn't you jump?

You plummet to your death.

GAME OVER.

Sorry, don't really know why I posted that. Also I think I nicked the second one from an old PC Gamer.
