I have an IBM ThinkPad 765L. Want to install an IBM Credit Card Adapter for Ethernet P/N 0933270 (1993 vintage).
When I plug it into the PCMCIA slot new hardware is detected and it loads two adapter definitions.
1. IBM Corp - Ethernet
2. NatSemi Ne4100 Infomover or Compatible
The detecting new hardware detected window for NatSemi never closes and the hourglass never changes back to a pointer. I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del which shows 'not responding' to end the task and reboot without the card installed, otherwise it hangs on reboot with a black screen and blinking cursor.
Anyone know what I need to do to get this to work?
I've checked the IBM support site and can't find any drivers or installation files for this card.
