A friend of mine has a Dell Latitude CPi A-Series laptop (P2-366, 64MB RAM, ~5GB HD) and wants me to upgrade it a bit. The most obvious upgrade is some extra RAM.
Does Dell use standard SO-DIMM memory, or some proprietary type? Dell has been known to use proprietary components (*cough* PSU *cough*). Dell wants to charge $82 for a 128MB stick. Can I just get a stick of "normal" laptop memory and stick it in?
