Old Wyse keyboards

Greetings,

I am looking for a Wyse keyboard with an AT style (5 pin DIN) connector.

The model # is: 900840-01

I am wondering if anyone has seen these keyboards around. I am only looking for one or two of these things, I think they're nice keyboards. No Windows keys! YAY!

Isn't that just a standard PS/2 port?
Anyway, i'll check around at IT in school. We've got a crateful of old keyboards

Wow. I haven't seen those keyboards since my local library upgraded their terminals from some GEAC solution years go. The WYSE terminals were sooooo fast, with 20% less burn in on the monitors...

Hahah, terminals. Yeah, but this model was from when Wyse was in the PC building business, around the time of the 386DX. They have a 5 pin DIN connector on them, it's quite a bit larger than a PS/2. They're the old 486 and earlier connectors...

Biggest reason I want another one is incase this one I have breaks! It may be hard to do, it's been through hell and back, plenty of pop spilled on it over the years and after a quickl cleaning, away it goes... All semi-quiet mechanical keys.

I looked around in IT, we've just got a bunch of Dell OEMs from 199x, and a few IBM clackity dumb terminal boards

Really? With the model 900840-01?

I've been looking on eBay and have found plenty of Wyse keyboards, just none with the AT style connector (Model 900840-01).

If you find one, can you post the link here, please?

Well if they have PS/2, you can adapt it.

Oh, I know I can adapt it, but those PS/2 keyboards aren't the mechanical keyswitches, and they have the most useless keys on the planet; the Windows key and the Context Menu key. I have the Windows key disabled, or on my Logitgech G15, it has a switch to turn it off.

Woohoo!

Heck, CTRL-ESC is the Windows Key and Shift-F10 is the Context menu... Why do I need buttons for them?! I hate M$...
