Old TV monitor, weird inputs on the back: what are they?

I recently aquired a Television Monitor (i.e. a TV without a tuner) to use in my main living room setup. I recognize most of the inputs it has except for 2: one labelled VTR, another labelled RGB. "VTR" is an odd, curved-but-rectangular plug with eight pinholes, which are slanted diagonally. "RGB" looks to be a standard floppy cable port. (2 rows, 34 pins) I can't find any documentation on either, much less any adaptors. Anybody know what this stuff is offhand?

(There's also what looks like an old apple 8-pin input labelled "Control Input", but I suspect that's for a remote control)

Also, the monitor is made by NEC, but I can't find any section on their site that has the manual for it. Any idea how I could find a copy of the manual? I know it's really old.
