I'm completely lost on this week's rotation, on a losing streak no matter who i choose, but gotta admit the big worm is fun with the artillery strike, took down plenty of runners lol

last week was awesome, maybe lucky with my teams and was 10-1 with morgana, 75kills 47deaths and 171 assists
 
Just buy Morgana, she's a decent AP nuke and her shield is godly if used correctly. Pick up the fallen angel skin while you're at it because that is simply the best skin Riot has released for any champ.
 
I'm having a terrible week. Latest record is about 12 losses 3 wins x_x, and while my team has simply played worse than the other team a few games, I did run into 2 games where I guy DC'd multiple times, fell behind in level, and basically lost it for us.

I also had a game where amumu inisisted on going MID with tris. I don't know what the fuck was up with that because the next game after that loss, I faced against the retarded amumu and lost again.

In another game, Akali had SMITE even though someone else was jungling. I think it was me, shaco. Anyway, he went to the enemies side golem at level 1 and proceeded to die to an enemy caster. GG level 1 golem.
 
It's something in the latest matchmaking implementation. It must be trying to create mixes of experienced and the retarded. This works out badly for at least one side.

I know my elo is rock bottom but I'm nowhere near as horrific as some of the braindead I'm being matched with or against. Or nearly on the level of some others. Also, I'm getting Eves in probably 1/4 of my solo queue games now. I'm still at close to 50% wins out of ~700 games, and from personal experience I know anyone maining Eve can't possibly be close to that.

I suspect the 5 man premades with the level 1 smurfs are causing this by soaking up high elo wins and pushing the high elo players into mid where they pubstomp hard. Which in turn pushes the otherwise midrange players into teaming with Downs Syndrome kids, leavers and Eves.
 
whatever they are doing, sucks. I'm 3-13 in my last 16 games of which probably 14 of them were premade, and the 2 non premade were the worst games of the bunch.

It just seems every game the enemy team is incredible (most seem to be 5 person premades also, but I can't be THAT bad with everyone I know). Most of the games have been fully one-sided.... like 23-55 and they have all towers still.

Anyway - oh well, games will go on, anticipating season 1. Need to get a solid active team (5-10 people) and try to clean up season one a bit =]
 
Guys, switch to a smurf. 10/2 W/L record so far, and both losses were on account of start game leavers.

Been stinking things up on my real account. I'm aggressive when I need to be passive, and vice versa. Just can't get in sync. That, and yeah, blowouts galore.
 
I've gone from +17 to -2 on my main account... =( but I've been trying to carry with Tristana, Annie and Garen. I do best with annie since she's simply a rock star from levels 6 to 15 able to burst any but tanks down with a full combo. That said, too often you just end up with a bad team. Playing Alistar instead guarantees that at least we have a chance because I can initiate and push enemies back to my team, stun and tear towers down. Alistar + Soraka is simply a horrific combo. Throw a Heimerdinger in there and it's almost GG.

I had a very humorous game the other day where we had pantheon mid, Alistar and Sivir Bot with Heimerdinger and Mordekaiser top. We had all 3 front towers down by 10 minutes and an inhibitor down by 15. The dual tank with healing and some early game ganking by pantheon and Heimers grenades was simply too much for the other team and after their inhibitor fell all but two of them ran back to base and held a dance-fest.

I hate this having to level shit. :| It's troublesome. I've already played over 1,000 DOTA games I am sure, and hundreds of HON games too.

loving the ranked game. kinda bumped because i always never got pick early and usually there will be one (or more...) tanks already so i can't use my blitzcrank.

this new interface is pretty troublesome, when you change the summoner spell, it changes your champ. i picked sion accidentally because of that last night. good thing that ghost was one of the spell that I pick (also accidentally cuz i was going for blitzcrank... LOL).

Just ignore the leveling thing for the most part. It barely affects anything and people are generally around about your level anyway.
 
I played my first two ranked matches yesterday and in the second I played against Flowerbridge (xCxStylex here). Things went well early getting a couple of kills but their team came together and did a great job in teamfights and we could match their damage output.

I've not played against a heimer since his nerf but I still request that any of heimer/soraka/shen/shako get banned. One game started with Yi and Blitz getting banned which made me lol.

Ivan I've not seen your summoner spell/champ change problem but that would be nasty. I'll watch out for it. Thankfully you have to lock your champ in so I would think you could switch back?
 
i will need to try more to be sure, i do know that after the goof with sion i had a scare in the ranked game with sivir, but i switched back quickly. perhaps lock first then pick summoner spell is the way to go there forth.
 
Didn't play any ranked yesterday. Gonna wait a few days, since I'm not great and don't wanna get my ass handed to me by the high ELO players yet 😉. Also, was laggy as hell for me anyways yesterday.
 
LOL that was a bad start that turned into a terrible game for me. I fed zebano and his lane mate like... 3 kills and went 0-6 before finally snagging two kills.

Thankfully, the morgana on our team carried us and went 20-0.

One of my kills was actually a 1v1 kill on your ashe, who was a pretty bad player to be honest. I'm not surprised he fed our morg 2 kills while I was 0-4 around level 6-7.

We were yellign at that ashe all game because she wanted to solo and didn't ever go retreat or position herself behind the tanks.
 
Been in Africa the last two weeks and on my way home today. Really excited to see that Season 1 has started. Has the heal/push team been rendered less effective or is it still dominant?

Healers still roll faces. Worse now that Taric/Soraka is always picked (provided he's not banned, which he usually is).

Yeah in my rated games Shaco has been banned 100% of the time, soraka about 75% Heimerdinger around 40%, Taric about 50% Shen in about 90% and Xin in about 25% of games. It's safe to assume that you simply can't play shaco/shen in rated games (at my level) right now.

If i want to own as shen how do i go about it? Im level 15 and usually stack sunfire capes with rammus, gonna try shen. What items do i buy?

If Soraka isn't banned 100% of the time you're doing it wrong.
 
Well, having a dozen ranked games under my belt now, I can say people who ban the non-OP heroes because they have a personal hatred of a certain other hero is infuriating. Hey, thanks for banning Sion with the last pick and allowing them to pick the super-OP Xin first. I totally saw that loss coming before we started. Having seriously retarded teammates has pulled my rating down.

Taric has become my go-to guy right now. I like setting up like this - take Clarity and either Ghost/Cleanse. Ignite is also not bad. Start with a Sapphire Crystal + HP + MP. Build Catalyst and Boots 1 first trip back. Buy Tabi/Treads. Finish ROA. Aegis. Soul Shroud (belt first). That's about as far as I get in a longish game. GA if you need a pure defensive item. Stark's if you have some good physical DPS on your team or WotA if more caster heavy. But I rarely get that far.
 
Xin is insanely OP. Been playing him on my smurf while the week1 of season1 elo gets sorted out. Got leaver games and a steamrolling first day; wised up and figured I'd play my smurf before my elo dropped much below 1200. Anyway, something like 10 wins 2 losses with him. Even won a few rounds with a leaver or afk. Nothing like sliding out of the bushes, ult, knockup, set them on fire and move on to the next kill.

Heard a rumor that if you queue dodge now you get a leave and a loss. That... can't be right.
 
You know, I totally overlooked that the new ranked ELO ratings would take awhile to even out. That explains why I've had some teammates play like complete and utter noobs.
