BTW, League of Legends hosts a (huge), official, free ventrilo server. I'm going to take a stab that it supports 128 users and has several dozen of rooms within it. I don't have the information here, but I think it can found on the forums (which I can't access here @ work) :X
 
Yeah I've used it before. It's very hard to find a free room on it during prime time hours. And there's so many interruptions as well since anyone can join and move about.
 
played with fenix last night, was fun, he helped me get out of my 7 game losing streak (LoL just wont let me get ahead in wins)
 
Played two games with Rhoxed and co tonight. Some observations:

1. My wife is going to be shocked to find her gallon of margarita mix, all the tequila and even some of the rum missing. And I'm out of beer.

2. I think we won both games, but seeing as the screen was spinning toward the end, I'm not positive.
 
yes we won both, and the 9 brews I consumed made the games that much longer lol (we were down horribly both games, and made a winning comback after 50 or so mins)

BTW, im gonna make an AT team soon, too many of us not to, and everyone i have played with is of good skill.
 
I also do not play completely sober some of the time...

Ezreal has a pretty significant bug right now. Mystic Shot was buffed but the bug increases it damage much more than it's supposed to do. The forumla is supposed to be (Base Damage x 1.2) + Bonus Dam but right not it's calculating it as (Base Dam + Bonus Dam) x 1.2. So basically, AD Ez is the de facto build right now and the dude hits like a truck. I don't think I've won a game yet against one built that way (and without one on my team).

I was wondering why I kept seeing so many AD ez's. I was in a game with a 3 man premade (on my team), and the EZ went 15-2 or something like that. Next game in, I was against them. Told my teammates to gank the hell outta him (and they actually listened!) and we won.
 
I have to say, the current game environment is really making this game unfun. You need to have a mainstay healer (Soraka, Janna, and to a lesser extent Alistar) on your team because if you don't and your opponent does, you've got a tremendous uphill battle ahead of you. And it gets even worse if they're supported by the DPS/heal champs like Ez and Nid. Finish it off with some strong push champs, like Ashe who can volley your team at a tower safely out of range, and it just gets ridiculous. Their team stays out of range and heals up any damage while you get continually harassed and can't do any damage. Repeat until they can just rush the tower and knock it down.

I considered running a locket on Karthus and a few other champs just because healing is so powerful. I honestly think that after a major damage item (I.E.) Ashe should consider a locket because a 4 sec cd volley + locket is great harrasement while ignoring the little damage sent your way. At level 6 a tibers stun combo will usually do about 60% of his health, maybe 70% if I have ignite. However I can't seem to harass him well enough early where that might kill him.


I've started playing Annie who is fun, but unfortunately your team expects you to mid and I've run into 3 Mordekaisers in a row now.... =( How do you deal with this guy? He pushes waaaay too well and I can't harass him because of his shield.

Yes, the game environment has changed. It's crucial to be premade, and to not focus on a lineup of squishy gankers focused on personal K😀 any more.

Mord is brutal early mid. There will be about 6 levels where his shield is > than the burst damage anyone can dish. all you can hope for is to last hit minions and to stay out of his fairly short and narrow arc of shield fire.

After that, it's bear stun, ignite and hope you punch through enough to wear him down. He doesn't have CC, so timing it BEFORE your minions arrive is the only way to go.

Oh yeah, learning AD Ez. What a blast! Got off to great starts in every game (unlike my usual with ATers), then had our team get overconfident and solo in all directions at once. Lost two games and only won one, but still had fun.
 
Season One Details Revealed!

Sounds very promising.

Finally we get ranked games, ladders, and ban draft mode. It's also nice they're giving the PVP.net interface a much needed overhaul. It looks like it may actually convey information in a decent manner about heroes! But unfortunately no concrete date for the start.

Last week I got a few games with zebano, his brother, and rhoxed, but I haven't seen anyone on lately 😛

I have been playing a little less though.
 
Plus the servers were down last night. Been practicing with a bunch of different champs, and yeah. It's all about the healing, CC and pushing.

Between helping a buddy build a retaining wall and my kids being sick I haven't been on. I'll be on tonight if the kids cooperate. Annie is a dirt simple yet fun alternative to my other champs (plus she can use Morgana' rune page which is nice). I'm still trying to save up to get a rune page specifically for melee (carries).
 
So, anyone up for an arranged shen/tf/pantheon for 3v3?

I was Pantheon with a random Shen and we just back doored a 2vs3 win. At L6 you respawn quickly, so simply ulting to the inhibitor tower (shen ults to whomever is being tower shot, which is hopefully a fast attacking and blocking panth) combined with 3 heals *should* net a win before 15 minutes, regardless of early game start or ganks. Heim+alistar+soraka might be fun too.
