old textbooks

during buyback days my campus bookstore usually has a pile for books that people don't want anymore ie. no cash.

you can drop them off at goodwill, salvation army, or libraries.

Not old versions, especially if you're more than one edition behind. List it at the minimum price and still nobody will buy it. I know, I have a bunch up for sale for over 3 years now and nobody has ever bited.

Also, note that libraries tend not to accept outdated textbooks. Best thing to do is have the paper recycled.
