also im kinda trying to find me one so if you have one you dont need go here🙂

Tamiya makes the best electric-based RCs. I didn't have any old trucks but the new ones are just awesome! I have the Mercedes-Benz truck with the Shell oil tank and I loved it.

Depends what you consider old, but I still have a built imaculate XR311, and for those that don't know it's not a FORD, but an accurate model of a previous US army jeep that looks similar to a Hummer or Humve or what ever it's called. 😉 It was one of the first they made and I think it was the first of road one along with the Bagga Bug.

Ahhhhh, nostalgia. I used to have the hornet as well. Wishing I hadn't sold all my RC stuff when I was 14 now. 🙁

I couln't afford some of the better ones like the Supershot my friend owned, so I bought myself a cheapy Grasshopper. Similar to the hornet but had a hard plastic cover. I sure ran that thing to death.

*Sigh* the good ol' days.

Hell yea! Those were my first RC cars before I moved on to the RC/10. I had a Hornet, Frog, Blackfoot, and an onroad car called the Toyota Tom's.

I built a ClodBuster. That was a huge mofo. My brother and I upgraded the motors, suspension, and chassis. They sucker could pull a case of beer with no trouble. The speed controller would overheat so we upgraded the heatsink on it. Still, the thing go so hot we needed to take it off ovenmitts. It was then we learned how to solder so we could upgrade the battery packs.

when i was like 13 i had the Clodbuster ... then i moved to a nikko 4x4 dirt car. it was crazy fast when it worked 🙂 .. and from there i had a Traxxas Rustler. and i raced that in a novice league were i cleaned house 🙂 R/C's are freakin expensive when your a kid. especially when your trying to race and your folks dont give you any dough

anyhow that was about 3 years or so ago. i still wouldnt mind getting a lil somp'in somp'in to play with 🙂

Used to have a Midnight Pumpkin - that thing kicked ass, also had a King Cab that had some nice parts in it, nice motor, etc - loved that thing

I picked up a nice Wild Willy's off the boards here late last year. Still trying to make some good battery packs for it thought. Freakin 6 cell humpers!

wow alot of At'ers like these old Tamiyas 🙂 I really want one I found someone with a Tamiya Lunchbox that he's gonna sell me and im gonna fix it up, fun project
