Old-school gamers unite! I need your input!

Yo want old-school, I show you old-school:

I played pong in the 1970s when it was the new arcade game.

I played Lemonade on the first Apple II. Hard to get much older than that that for PC games.


I'd say the first really fun graphics adventure I played was Ultima I, 1980ish. The Wizardry and Zork series were fine, but had more text.

you have so many great suggestions in this thread already, but i would say a few that really stand out are the space quest series, quest for glory series, and sam and max. (Day of the tenticle is really fun too)

King's Quest IV + V
Police Quest 1-3
Leisure Suit Larry (perhaps i'll buy the collection)
The Longest Journey
Sam and Max Hit the Road
Legend of Kyrandia
Under a Killing Moon

I have heard alot of great things regarding the Gabriel Knight-series, but I haven't played it myself.

you forgot space quest and quest for glory! both series you can get the whole series on 1 cd (its a collectors edition)
