Trying to do a quick test with my new parts, with out my Video Card. I've got an ATI Rage Pro Turbo AGP antique :p as my only source of video at the moment. My new ASrock DualSata does not support 3.3v AGP cards. And I dont want to plug this thing in unless someone can tell me it's 1.5V indefinately.

So...

1.5volts or 3.3volts... It's circa 1999?

The Rage series came in 3.3V-only and "universal" flavors. The latter do support 1.5V signalling.

Cards and slots are keyed so you can only plug cards into boards that are electrically compatible - and since ATi had no keying fsckups except on the RageMAXX dual-GPU card, you can safely assume that if it fits, it works.

The ATI FAQ pages did have a summary table for this btw.

I thought the dual sata only supports 1.5v cards??? I think i may have read it in a newegg review about someone saying make sure your card is 1.5volts, but i dunno.

Thank you all so much! It only means that I have to wait until Sunday night til I can get my new rig up and running.

I did a search on ATI.com as well as google, as well as Rage3d.com And found nothing regarding the voltage, thus here I came and recieved my answer. :) Thanks again.
