I work at a hotel (if you can call it that) right now.

I hate all these old folks, always walking in without reservations (they NEVER have one), expecting us to bend backwards to cave to their every whim, constantly whining/judging everything in sight, whether it be their damn business or not, constantly asking "is this your best rate", "is this your best rate"?

God I want to jump over them and pummel the sh1t out of them.

You chose to work in a service industry. Deal with ppl. Kindness and tolerance goes a long way in this short sweet life. Anger is spiritual buglery. Do not let your interaction with others piss you off, they walk away smiling knowing they left you a steaming pile. A short while later they forget it and you take it to bed at night. Whats wrong with this picture??
