First of all I'm not sure if it was just luck or not. But I had a old DFI P2XBL Rev. D Slot1 Pentium motherboard. Which had a bad bios chip. All it was saying was 'Checksum Error' no matter what I did.
But some how I was able to boot the system with a Win98 bootdisk. Then I was able to reflash the bios with the newest bios update I could fine. Now I the motherboard is working great now without any signs of problems.
I would just like to know what you guys think? Was it a bad bios chip or what.
