Hey everyone!

A friend of mine has an extremely old PB PC that he still uses. All he uses it for is email and MP3s. What he'd like to do is add a second hard drive. He said the model number is 925 and I believe it has a Celeron 333 in it. I've looked and looked on the net and can't find anything about this model. Anyone have any ideas what mobo it uses, and the largest hard drive it supports?

Thanks,
Tom

If it has 2 ide channels you should be able to add one. You may have to use a drive overlay on the drive and perhaps drill a couple of mounting holes for the drive.

You may not have a place to mount the new drive, just ghost the old drive to the new and toss the old clunker.

Should speed the system up too

I have an old PII 350 Packard Hell left over from upgrading my nephew to a P4 rig and I found what I need to know about it Here just follow the links as needed. I threw a Slotket and Celery 366@550 in it and use it for an entertainment PC in my master bedroom using a Radeon VE AIW. I had already put an ATA66 controller card in it a couple years ago for him so I use it since the board is ATA33 like your friend's probably is. You can find ATA66/100 controller cards in the for sale/for trade forum here for $10-$15 frequently and it'll be an improvement if his board is indeed ATA33.
