I can't figure out the purpose of their ads either. I like the store, but the ads aren't helping at all.

Yeah, once you start bringing dogs and old hags in to clothing adds you really need to fire your whole advertising department.

I think it's just their way of putting a face and feel to their stores though, those commercials make me feel like I'm watching MTV......

PS: That Dr. Scholls add where a guy rear ends a person at a stop light is funny as hell!
 
Actually, the ads work. The purpose behind them is to make the brand name stick in your head so that you remember it..
 
The ads are quite obnoxious. However their jeans are great. Dirt cheap and last quite a long time for being cheap.

i hate the bits and bytes cartoon guy. 'theyres a different combination in every handful!' FVCK OFF! whenever i see that commercial i want to kill something.

the old navy ones arent THAT bad... theyre purposefully kinda stupid and gay like.
 
I hate their ads too.... actually felt less inclined to buy their stuff, but my wife does all my clothes shopping, so I just wear what she picks out for me in the morning. 🙂
 
I hear ya.. Old Navy commercials are so irritating. If I didn't like shopping there because of the prices I'd be tempted to never shop there based on the inanity of their ads

she is NOT the same obnoxious woman that played Chandler's gf on friends (janice), but i can see how you'd get them confused

also, i think the old chick w/ the glasses died a bit ago...

however, Old Navy has the best T-Shirts and wife beaters EVER!! seriously, their plain ass t-shirts are NICE and they feel well made, as well as their tank tops...
