Old Navy jeans...

So, I am standing and talking to a co-worker and during the conversation I proceed to put my hands in my back pockets. Now, I knew these jeans had a small hole on the edge of the left rear pocket, but they have held up quite well this way for some time. Well... not this time they didn't. As we were talking this loud "RIIIIIIP!" could be heard and my left hand sunk down. Sure enough, I nearly ripped my left rear pocket completely off! Now my black undies are showing and my left cheek feels a draft. :eek:

Anything like this ever happen to any of you?

Doh!! That sucks!

I've actually had that happen before with a pair of suit pants. Apparently the way pants are cut, right on the side of the pocket gets a lot of friction and stress and weakens a lot, and one day it just goes. Nothing better than discovering the hole en route to a job interview and trying to keep your back to a wall the entire time!

no, this never happened, but i hate old navy clothing because its not very good quality. i buy from gap when its on sale instead.
Old navy stuff wears out too fast, and i hate their commericals.

All my pants from Old navy di the same thing. One time, I left a bunch of chnage in my pocket and when i went to reach for it, my pocket was empty. I kept wondering people's change kept from falling from around me.

Old Navy jeans are okay. What I don't like about them is that, ironically, the pockets are really deep.

My keys are sitting halfway down the front of my leg--its somewhat annoying.

Never had a problem with Old Navy jeans. I've had the button fall off several times on their khakis (sewn too loose). But then again the same thing happens with J.Crew chinos.

When you pay 20 bucks for jeans...you win some and you lose some. I had a pair where the butt area wore out after about 4 washes. I've had another pair that's been great for 40+ washes. One thing I've noticed is that you have to try on every pair. Let's say normally I'm a 33x33 pants wearer. Well I recently bought 2 pairs of jeans. One says "33x34". The other says "34x32". The 32 looks just as long on me if not longer as the 34. I have a feeling their quality control is lacking.

I've never had a pair of jeans blow out at the groin until I bought a couple of Old navy jeans.
