Old machine running VERY slow

I have an old machine that I use for a backup. Lately it's been running a lot slower than usual. I scanned for virus/spyware and nothing turned up. I think it might be a memory leak, are there any programs that let you monitor memory use in real time?

if you're using it for a backup, reinstall windows, don't use it, use your main rig, and use your backup only if you need to

how much space is free? when was the last time it was defragged?

"a 350mhz machine running slow?"

they run just as fast as an a64 3200 on the internet when surfing
