I would wait another month. Now that the iPhone has come down in price some other cell phone companies will be lowwering theirs as well. So you might be able to get this phone cheaper or even free with 2 year plan.

If you don't want to wait, the consensus at howardforums seems to be that the new chocolate is a pretty good improvement over the original.

deff the new one, the old one is way to sensitive or not senstitive enough so its so hard to use, i heard people have been hanging up on calls just from touching it on ur face and overall i hate the original touch keypad! the new wheel is a huge improvement and ive been playing with it for several weeks and like it.

my gf just got a new one and i personally hate it. i'm not sure if it's a bad phone or just the way the phone is, but it has horrible echo whenever you talk on it. she will be returning it for another one so we'll see if its defective or not.
