old GPU vs new GPU

say, i want to get a new VGA, what will you suggest between these?
- GeForce3 Ti200 ($110)
- Radeon 8500 ($100)
- GeForce4 MX440 ($94)
- SiS Xabre 400 (around $90 - $120)

or should I wait a couple of weeks, hoping that GeForce4 Ti4200 would be cheaper (around $150-$160 here... )

The R8500 is the best of the four in your price range, imho.

The price of the 4200 will drop in the next couple of weeks, or months, or quarters. So will the price of the other cards.

If you always wait for the price to drop (and the price of these things will continue to drop), you could wait forever.

Buy now what's best at your price point now.

You can wait, but waiting is an un-ending cycle.... there is always something better coming, and prices are always dropping.

I'd say grab the R8500, a better feature set and better performance then the 3 alternatives listed.
