Mass Effect 3 is old?
My thought too.
Mass Effect 3 is old?
I bought Mass Effect 3. Have yet to play it still. Finished Mass Effect 2 earlier this year and moved back to the Assassin's Creed series. Finished Brotherhood and now I'm working my way through Revelations. I rarely ever play through a game right at release.
My thought too.To be "old" in my book the game has to be at least from the time period of the last console generation.
dont finish the ending, download the Omega DLC and Citadel, after the assault on the Illusive man stop the game go back play Citadel and thats how you enjoy Mass Effect.
That would be cheating yourself out of very emotional final moments with your squad mates and other characters.
ME3 was awesome, far too many butthurt haters ragged on it for its admittedly bad ending and ignored that the rest of it was money.
if ur expecting the openish world of ME1 no...
ME3 was a lot more linear then ME2 which people say was a straight line compared to ME1.
I havent played the ending, I kind of spoiled it for myself when everyone started saying "dont play till the end!!!"
The alternative 4th option is actually worse than the original ending it truly doesnt make any sense.
But instead of dying around your crew would it not be better to have some fun antics and break the 4th wall (I wont spoil the Citadel DLC)
and everyone is there and Anderson gives you a pretty nice gift.

Why don't you actually play the ending (with the extended cut) before you start telling people to avoid it?
The Citadel DLC is a nice sort of "afterparty" to the game but it isn't an actual ending.
my choice i guess? in a way the Citadel DLC CAN fit into the story PRE reaper assault. theres a ton of ways people have bent the story to make it better and I chose this route.
Besides ive seen the ending all 3 side by side on youtube before, rather than disappoint myself I chose not to play it.

If you like doing bulletin board fetch quests with no dialogue the ME1 is pretty open world, but if you want actual content, ME1 is miniscule in size compared to ME2 or ME3.
The ending was bad when I played launch edition, but most people complaining about it are completely missing the forest for the trees. If you married a perfect woman, had 40 years of great marriage, and then one day she stabs you to death can you honestly say you did badly? Not really. Gotta keep it in perspective. I enjoyed every hours of ME3 until the ending suckedSeems like youre agreeing to its bad ending? If you make choices more than 3 choices in many cases but are stuck with 3 endings that means everything you went through, with your crew, your love, your paragon/renegade actions-just means they got flushed down the toilet and didnt matter.
I thought I could actually align myself with Cerberus and I kind of liked the illusive man's idea (though I didnt know at the time that you wouldnt have an option just destroy them basically using Cerberus as a mule to reel in the reapers "capture"
have you ever played the walking dead? (not the god awful survival instinct but the first one) your options and choices change the ending according to how you played the game.
My goal is generally to play and then sell a game while it's the same price; e.g. pay $60 on a launch title and when it's still $60 resell it on amazon. I then get to play a new game for about $20 out of pocket. I generally have no game library at all. Of course, this means I play no DLCs because they are normally released months later, after the price has already dropped, so not only would I have DLC price but also lost resale, and games drop in value very quickly indeed. This is for consoles. I think reselling on PC is far harder.Developers thank you, you pay retail price while the game is hot and play them when they are bargain bin items xD
Even with the extended cut DLC, which I think you have to pay for now?, it still boils down to 3 colored explosions. The addition of a few extra cutscrenes in the outro doesn't suddenly make it a good ending. You still have no closure with any squad members.
The ending isn't just that sequence with the mass relays. There's a lot more that happens before it.
I took Tali and Garrus with me on my suicide charge my first play through, imagine my surprise when they crashed on a tropical shit hole with Joker and everyone else. . . I wonder when they ditched me.
Being as all the gates were destroyed, and such a planet is not likely to have the dietary requirements for such a diverse group of aliens I doubt they lived happily ever after.
