Dick Dale? Though I don't think he sings, but his guitar work is still awesome.

At age 70, Dick still rocks..definately! Hope he wins his latest fight against cancer...he's the king of the surf guitar damnit 🙁

Dennis DeYoung (former lead singer for Styx). Saw him a few months ago and at 60 his voice is still every bit as good as when he when a young pup. Still hits all the high notes and has perfect pitch. His overly-theatrical stage antics are a bit over-the-top but the dude can still sing like a bord.

I saw Styx (minus DeYoung) this past summer (w/Def Leppard) They rocked, great concert! Frontman Tommy Shaw however makes them not Old Fart enough for this list.

Dennis DeYoung however, born February 18, 1947, is an Old Fart worthy of the list

Just thought of one glaring ommission. Even though he's only 59 he probably deserves early induction:

Ted Nugent

Deadly Tedly = Not an Old Fart for months.

True but out of the three I have seen Roger for the last three years and I can tell you he will still sound the same in one year🙂

Edit.... And if you have been to a Rush show in the last couple years they are not slowing down they just seem to get better.

I am sorry, go listen again. Old people have raspy crackly off-pitch voices, can't even remember their own lyrics, and generally sound like they are tired of signing the same crap they have been for 30+ years. Good is good and old is bad. I will chalk up your opinion to nostalgic feelings, bias towards older music, and possibly poor hearing, but I assure you, sonically, old farts are shadows of their former selves.

<mock> I assure you my good man, SONICALLY, they are mere shadows, THEY ARE MERE SHADOWS.......THEY ARE.....THEY...</mock>

Am I missing something about my spelling or just my anachronistic way of putting things sometimes? Curious.

I think you may be taking me the wrong way, or at least whoever told me to go enjoy Linkin Park. The only Lincoln Park I like is spelled like that. Don't get me wrong. I like almost everyone mentioned here. I just would not buy their new albums or go see them live. It's quite disappointing to me. Old Farts that still have the chops is a contradiction in terms, and I am sure it is measurable as well. I'll look into it.
